Galatians Series (Study 4 of 19). Brother Kenneth Magwood leads a study about a powerful confrontation between Paul and Peter. The dangerous teaching of the Judaizers had caused apostles like Peter, and even Paul's traveling companion Barnabas to stray from the faith. At hand was the very salvation that came through Jesus: a salvation by grace through faith. Paul reminded Peter, and all of us, that our heritage is not what matters, it is our inheritance that does.
Galatians Series (Study 3 of 19). Brother Niles leads a study of Paul's life example. As Paul wrote to the Galatians, one of the serious issues that needed to be addressed was Paul's own character. Apparently, some thought Paul was inconsistent with the faith, and he needed to prove his apostleship and allegiance to Jesus instead of to men. Galatians Series (Study 2 of 19). Our Galatians series started this Sunday with Paul's opening words about the gospel. Christians everywhere must strive for the pure and simple faith that was delivered once and for all. When we seek to add to or take away from the gospel, the apostle Paul warned that we will be accursed. With such sober teaching, we place our hope in a risen savior who can save anyone who is willing to hear, believe, and obey the gospel! Galatians Series (Study 1 of 19). Why did Paul write the book of Galatians? There was a very specific reason that the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write this epistle, and it's application is just as relevant now as it was almost two thousand years ago. Follow along as we study the background of this epistle and the first five verses which form a brief introduction. There is also a Power Point file for download if you would like to utilize it.
